The Mermouth is a type of fish that can be found in the rivers of Craglorn.
Merringar[edit]
The Merringar is a rare type of fish that can be found in the Sea of Ghosts, roughly a week's voyage north from mainland Skyrim. They are considered to be a delicacy. Local fishermen hunt them in schools, but harvesting them is a dangerous endeavor as their blood can attract dreugh. Simocles Quo, the Master of Cuisine in Emperor Uriel VII's Elder Council, nearly died in such an event.[1]

Minnow[edit]
The Minnow is a type of small fish that can be found in saltwater across Tamriel. They are used as bait to catch larger fish.
Mojarra[edit]
The Mojarra is a type of fish that can be found in the Southern Sea, off the coast of Grahtwood.
Mola[edit]
The Mola is a type of fish that can be found in the Abecean Sea and Auridon Strait, off the coasts of Auridon.
Monkfish[edit]
The Monkfish is a type of fish that can be found in saltwater in Deshaan.
- The Blue Monkfish can be found in the Abecean Sea and Auridon Strait, off the coasts of Auridon.
Moray[edit]
The Moray is a type of eel.
- The Sand Moray can be found in the foul waters of the Alik'r Desert.
- The Yellow Moray can be found in the foul waters of Stormhaven.
Mouthbrooder[edit]
The Mouthbrooder is a type of fish that can be found in the rivers of Deshaan.
Mrigal[edit]
The Mrigal is a type of fish that can be found in the rivers of Malabal Tor.
Mud Hopper[edit]
Mud Hoppers are amphibious fish which can survive both out of water and on the ocean floor. They can be found along the shoreline of bodies of water or in swampy areas. The brown and green variety can be found on Summerset and Artaeum, while the vibrantly colored subspecies can be found in southern Tamriel, such as in Murkmire and Southern Elsweyr, as well as in the Inner Sea of Morrowind.

The Muddy Razorgill is a type of fish that can be found in the foul waters of Blackwood.

The Mudfin is a type of fish that can be found in the lakes of High Isle and Amenos.

- The Ebony Mudfish can be found in the foul waters of the Deadlands.
Mudskipper[edit]
Mudskippers are a type of amphibious fish that live in pools of mud that are found in Murkmire.[2] Argonians fish for mudskippers using strange poles known as "Glooba Jikei" to stir deep mud up to the surface.[3]
- The Fringed Mudskipper can be found in the warm foul waters of Hew's Bane.

- The Thick Scaled Mullet can be found in the rivers of Murkmire.
Muskellunge[edit]
The Muskellunge is a type of fish that can be found in The Rift.
Muskie[edit]
The Muskie is a type of fish that can be found in rivers on Auridon.
- The Blue Muskie is native to the rivers of Skyrim's western holds, namely Hjaalmarch, Haafingar, and the area once known as Karthwatch.
- The Onkobra Muskie, named for the Onkobra River can be found in the rivers of Blackwood.
