Not sure if this is appropriate information in this article, but I added a note about how to check your reputation (using external tools). This is something I previously wanted to know, but had trouble figuring out. The way reputation information is presented in this article/wiki gives the impression that it is easily accessible information, which it is not (reputation is hidden inside the game and never directly visible to the player, afaik)

The exception to this is the regional reputation / how the law sees you in a region, which is visible through an info box in the game.

Reputation Tables

Inspired by the nobles reputation I thought it would be an idea to add such tables for every faction one can do quests for. This tables could be integrated in the respective quest walkthroughs like it is done with the nobles. It is only necessary to make corresponding subsections of linkable like normal pages. I know this can be done, but I don't know how it's done. And before I mess around any longer with this page, perhaps someone other can make this.--PLRDLF 19:15, 14 November 2008 (EST)

Since I read that's impossible to transclude only parts of a page using MediaWiki software, I created self-contained pages for the various factions one can do quests for. Knight/Noble quest rep effects v. legal standing?

Hey, I'm not sure how knight-quest reputation benefits the PC. Based on what I'd read, I presumed that it would lead to folks liking you better and/or improved legal rep; however, they seem non-connected. Would appreciate some clarification on the matter. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Temple donations

The article states you can get one point of reputation per 2000 gold offered. This does not work for me: no matter how much I donate, the reputation viewer shows only a single point improvement (per donation). If you give very little, however, you may not get even that. I experimented a little and it seems the odds of rep improvement are proportional to donation sum divided by current rep with the deity. For instance, if you donate in 100 gold batches, starting with 0 rep, first two donations always give rep; next 20 gave me +5 rep; but 20 more only gave +2 rep. I then managed to get from 0 to 50 rep in 50 donations by donating incremental sums: 100, 100, 200, 200, 300, etc. up to 2500. I have not thoroughly tested that, but it thus seems to me you need to donate about 50 gold per point of current rep to be sure. Maybe less, but certainly not much more.
