Two Ascendant Order fanatics threaten travelers in western High Isle. The Ascendant Executioner and the Ascendant Harrower capture their victims with dark magic and subject them to horrible torment.

1. Talk to Parisse Plouff.
2. Talk to Cienne Boulat. (Optional)
3. Defeat the Ascendant Executioner and the Ascendant Harrower.
4. Free the prisoners.
5. Return to Parisse Plouff.

Detailed Walkthrough

After taking the quest from Parisse Plouff in Gonfalon Bay.

"Great! I'm sure you've heard of the Ascendant Order. They're rogue knights, pillaging and murdering in the name of their cause. Two fanatical Ascendants in the western part of High Isle have been using dark magics to ensnare hapless wanderers."

What do you need me to do?

"Defeat the Ascendant Executioner and the Ascendant Harrower, and free any prisoners they're tormenting. If you need a first-hand account of their wicked dealings, there's a survivor named Cienne recovering down by the temple."

I'll defeat the Ascendant Harrower and the Ascendant Executioner, and free their prisoners.

You can choose to speak with Cienne Boulat before heading out. She will tell you how she suffered as a prisoner of the Ascendant Executioner and Ascendant Harrower and how she escaped. She will beg you to free the other prisoners.

You then need to head to Dark Stone Hollow and defeat the Ascendant Executioner and the Ascendant Harrower. Once this is done, free the prisoners around the area.

After that, return to Parisse Plouff.

I killed the Ascendant Executioner and the Ascendant Harrower, and freed the prisoners.

"You did well! My only regret is that you couldn't bring back their heads to console the families of those who already fell victim to those cruel fanatics. But their reign of terror is over now, isn't it?
