A Bog Blight

Bog Blights are Argonian zombies that can be found in swamps and bodies of water which contain grave-stakes throughout Norg-Tzel and Murkmire.

In appearance, they are near-nude and wear ancient Argonian masks. One of the functions of the grave-stake is to pin down an Argonian's corpse so it does not rise to the surface, however, when the stake is removed, a bog blight may wake up. The taking of grave-stakes as curiosities has led to many an unwary treasure hunter inadvertently waking them up, though strong smells such as rotting meat can mask someone's scent from a bog blight.

In Norg-Tzel, they are accompanied by Swarming Zombies and at first resemble any other zombie. However, when they are alerted, they will attempt to rush you and explode.

Skills and Abilities[edit]

Swipe
A basic melee attack, dealing low physical damage.
Exuding Flames
The bog blight throws globs of an inflammable substance which causes small AoE circles to appear. They last as long as the bog blight lives, dealing continuous low fire damage.
Combustion
The bog blight begins to glow and grow larger in size, before exploding, dealing high fire damage and leaving a large pool of lingering fire on the ground dealing continuous moderate fire damage. Both of these are indicated by a large circular AoE.
Bog blights that appear half-buried in the ground will use this ability right away when starting combat with them.
