Commander Faldethil is a Wood Elf member of the Houndsmen found at the River Edge, located near Silvenar. She will only appear and ambush you after you defeat the Bosmer found at the camp.
She has a chance to drop the Face of the Wolf Beast antiquity lead for the Ring of the Wild Hunt. She can also drop the Commander's Signet of Salvation, a unique item in the Salvation set.
Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Fright Force
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- The enemy casts a spell that fears the player for a short time, temporarily preventing them from moving or performing any actions. This effect passes through block, but players can break free from it. This spell can be avoided using roll dodge or interrupted by knocking the enemy off balance.
- Shadow Cloak
- If the target is in close proximity to the Fear Mage, they will turn themselves invisible and move to a better location.
Dialogue[edit]
As you approach she can be heard giving orders, before disappearing in a puff of smoke:
- Commander Faldethil: "An enemy approaches! Attack!"
Once all the other Bosmer are killed, she reappears and ambushes you:
- Commander Faldethil: "This one is trouble, we must finish this quickly."
Achievements[edit]
There is one achievement associated with this enemy:
Achievement | Points | Description | |
---|---|---|---|
| Green Vanquisher | 5 | Kill Commander Faldethil of the Green Hunters at River Edge. |
Notes[edit]
- The achievement description states the Bosmer found here are part of a faction called the Green Hunters which, apart from one dialogue mention with Lindel, don't exist in the game. Rather, the enemies here are part of the Houndsmen. This is further reinforced by a set of orders found nearby.
