Jowan and Mayla want to give their family a proper burial

Jowan and Mayla want to give their family a proper burial. They asked me to accompany them.

1. Follow Jowan and Mayla to the burial site near Hinault Farm.
2. Speak to Jowan.
3. Bury the deceased Hinault family members.
4. Listen to the eulogy.
5. Speak to Jowan for your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough

After the completion of the quest Under Siege, you can find Mayla and Jowan leaving the tower and making their way to their family's graveyard. They request that you join them and if you do, Jowan reveals that they wish for you to bury their family members' ashes:

"What happened to our family is terrible, but as the bards say, life goes on.
My sister and I came up here to … well, to give them a proper burial."

I'm sorry for your loss.

"Thank you. I have one last favor to ask of you, though. Would you bury our family's ashes?
Mayla and I think it would be appropriate, considering all you've done for us."

I would be honored to help.

"Just place my family's ashes in each of the graves. Then I'll say a few words to send them on their way."

Each time you bury the ashes of a late member of the Hinault family, one of the two siblings will make a brief yet emotional comment about the family member that they lost. Once all the ashes have been buried, you should pay your respects by listening to Jowan's eulogy:

Jowan Hinault: "Blessed Arkay, please sanctify our family and the ground they rest in. Let them find peace and keep them safe."

You can then speak with Jowan for one last time, to inquire what he and his sister will do now and to finish the quest.
