Notes[edit]
Prior to Update 29, this passive gave Battle Axes a chance to apply a Bleed Damage over time.
Patch Notes[edit]
- This passive ability now scales based on weapon damage instead of spell damage. It also no longer ticks for zero damage at low levels, and Rank I's axe damage modifier will now properly be weaker than that of Rank II.
- Bleed: Fixed an issue where this passive couldn't critical strike when you had an axe equipped.
- This passive now causes axes to deal bleed damage over 6 seconds instead of 10.
- Increased the damage per tick, though the total damage dealt remains unchanged.
- This passive now causes maces to ignore 10%/20% of your target's armor.
- Fixed an issue where the Axe Bleed proc from this passive ability was triggering 100% of the time.
- Fixed an issue where the axe bleed would not stack when multiple players used it against the same enemy.
- Reduced the bleed applied from the Axe version of this passive by approximately 12%.
- Increased the increased damage bonus from the Sword version of this passive to 6%.
- The axe bleed from this ability now ticks every second instead of every 2 seconds, and has had its total damage increased by approximately 24%.
- Fixed an issue where the bleed from this passive was not consistent with its proc condition.
- Reworked this passive to grant the following bonuses:
- Axes now grant 4/8% Critical Damage and Healing Done, rather than having a chance to apply a Bleed.
- Maces now grant 1650/3300 Armor Penetration, rather than ignoring 10/20% of the target's Physical Resistance.
- Swords now grant 142/284Weapon and Spell Damage, rather than increasing Damage Done by 3/6%.
- This passive now increases your Critical Damage done with axes by 6/12% rather than Critical Percent by 4/8%.
