Rebel's Cairn

Rebel's Cairn is a small cave northwest of Rorikstead. It contains only one zone, Rebel's Cairn.

Picking up Red Eagle's Fury in Sundered Towers adds this location to your map. In the first room lies a dead adventurer clinging to a copy of The Legend of Red Eagle. Reading the book starts the related quest, Rebel's Cairn.

Rebel's Cairn interior

A steel sword is stuck in a pile of rocks to the left of the entrance, and an iron ore vein is on the right side of the room with the pedestal. The cave is a good location to gather alchemical ingredients, as it contains 7 bleeding crown, 5 blisterwort, 12 fly amanita, 13 imp stool, 2 lavender, 6 Namira's rot, 2 Nordic barnacles, 1 slaughterfish egg nest, and 23 white cap.

Red Eagle's Bane can be removed from the weapon stand at any time, but doing so will cause the secret door to close.
If you interact with the weapon stand when you do not have Red Eagle's Fury in your inventory, nothing will happen, and a temporary message will be displayed in the top left-hand corner of the screen stating "None of your weapons fit in this slot."
If you are sent to the cave by a radiant quest, you must first start the quest Rebel's Cairn to enter the cave. After completing that quest, you may want to keep Red Eagle's Bane to allow you to easily explore the cave on subsequent visits.
