Skyrim talk:Gilfre
Contract[edit]
gilfre is pretty bugged, i killed her and she still managed to take out a contract on me for thieving. I'd not met her before, so she had no other reason to take one out on me. any idea what causes this and if this a gilfre specific bug? 83.100.233.169 17:13, 12 April 2013 (GMT)
- All NPC's take out those contracts. The game checks to send out the thugs the minute you steal from the person, so even if you kill them, the thieves will still come for you for stealing. This can happen with any NPC.--~The wind, forsaken~ (talk) 17:16, 12 April 2013 (GMT)
- i killed her before taking anything, however, and i was attacked quite a while later. 83.100.233.169 17:22, 12 April 2013 (GMT)
- It doesn't matter if they're dead or not when you take something. Time that passes isn't important either. It just matters that you stole something, which made the event possible. It is not a bug; working as intended. Vely►t►e 17:48, 12 April 2013 (GMT)
- A dead person put out a contract on someone for stealing from them after they died, this is an obvious bug. Don't be pedantic. Bushwhacker (talk) 22:04, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Stuck in house[edit]
It seems as though Gilfre doesn't ever come out of her house by herself to work the mill. The only solution that I've found is to break into her house (or enter if it's unlocked) and she will resume her regular schedule until the next day. It's the same bug that affects Hod (in Riverwood). --Blackpete (talk) 09:05, 17 May 2013 (GMT)
- Yup, she's bugged, just like any other lumberjack in the entire game. You can get them back on track by unlocking their doors but it seems like they're stuck place until you do. There's been quite a few discussions on the matter, but apparently Beth never fixed it in any patches. Sorry. --Krusty (talk) 09:16, 17 May 2013 (GMT)
[edit]
Both Uriel sisters refer her as a Nord and Gilfre is a more Nordic name than Imperial (or Italian). Do you all think Bethesda made a mistake when creating her actor?
