Skyrim talk:Bujold the Unworthy
Name[edit]
I recently beat Dragonborn for the second time, both times Bujold, was known as Bujold the Intrepid. Can anyone else confirm that her name can be different? Has-Many-Thoughts (talk) 17:14, 22 January 2013 (GMT)
- She starts as Bujold the Unworthy. If you take back Thirsk, she becomes Bujold the Intrepid. Jeancey (talk) 17:21, 22 January 2013 (GMT)
- A redirect exists already for Bujold the Intrepid leading to this page. Once the page is more fleshed out, details about her name change will be explained in the article. — ABCface◥ 18:16, 22 January 2013 (GMT)
- Actually, we might want to move it to Bujold the Intrepid. The game data indicates that the name of the NPC is Bujold the Intrepid and that the display name is just the unworthy for that first part of the questline. Jeancey (talk) 18:18, 22 January 2013 (GMT)
- Ideally, the main article should be at the page name of the NPC's name when you first meet them in-game. When you first meet her, she's Bujold the Unworthy. She only appears as Bujold the Intrepid depending on quest actions, so it makes more sense to leave it as is. Users searching for Bujold the Intrepid will still be led to this page, and when the page is fleshed out, the names will be explained within the article. There's no reason for moving things around now. — ABCface◥ 18:48, 22 January 2013 (GMT)

- If you side with the Reiklings she becomes "the Intrepid" also. (until she dies). Dragonalumni (talk) 18:17, 18 February 2013 (GMT)

(←) Honestly, my first instinct was that her name is bugged. For me, she was known as "the Unworthy" the entire time, which was especially odd outside of the cave when she gives that speech about how she was found Worthy once before. Then we went inside the cave, she was deemed unworthy, and her name changed to "the Intrepid". My thinking is. Her name is supposed to be "the Intrepid" until she is deemed unworthy, and then her name is supposed to change to "the Unworthy".68.96.52.9 02:32, 18 June 2013 (GMT)
Slave dialogue from Bujold[edit]
I just completed Retaking Thirsk by agreeing to lie for Bujold, and she turned to walk away. We were both still in Hrothmund's Barrow, and I immediately activated her to talk to her. She only responds with typical All-maker Stone slave phrases, such as "He draws near". I don't see any evidence that she can become one of Miraak's salves, so I don't understand why this is occurring. Has anybody else encountered this, and can someone explain why? — Unsigned comment by Xyzzy (talk • contribs) at 22:55 on 17 August 2013
- Hmm, never tried this, but she is under Miraak's spell from the beginning. Did you cleanse the Beast Stone before starting the quest? If not cleansed, she will probably go to the stone just after 11pm, regardless of where she is. --Krusty (talk) 21:02, 17 August 2013 (GMT)
